One of our core values at Snap Kitchen is giving back to the community. We believe that convenient, healthy meals should be available for everyone- including those in need. That’s why daily we donate our unsold food to non-profit food recovery programs in each of our markets. This year alone, we’ve donated close to 600,000 meals to these organizations.
But our desire to give back doesn’t stop there. Throughout the month of December, we’ll be donating a portion of our gift card sales to our community partners in each market.
Who are these amazing partners that are doing so much for our communities? Scroll down to learn more.

This year alone Keep Austin Fed is on pace to get the equivalent of over 600,000 meals to our neighbors who don’t have ready access to or the resources to afford healthy food. KAF currently partners with over 50 other charitable organizations in Austin to provide wholesome surplus food that would otherwise go to waste.
Second Servings is Houston’s only prepared and perishable food rescue organization. They pick up unserved and unsold food from regulated food businesses and deliver it the same day to more than 60 approved charity sites- serving over 135,000 people. In under 4 years, they’ve rescued almost 2 million pounds of food valued at about $10 million from more than 175 donors…food that was destined for the landfill but is now feeding people.
