Introducing: Our May Menu Items!

May 9, 2019

We know it’s been a minute since we last introduced new menu items, which is why we’re pretty excited to share that not only are Snap salads back, but we’ve also got two new breakfast options for you. Whether you’re keto, paleo, vegetarian, or just want to eat healthy meals, one of these new items will work for you. Without further ado, here’s the line-up!

Steak & eggs

The perfect combination of grass-fed beef, fresh peppers, eggs & our housemade ranchero sauce. Eggs are rich in choline, B-vitamins and selenium, and are truly a superfood when you eat the yolk (it’s where most of the nutrients hang out!). Grass-fed beef is rich in B vitamins, omega-3 fats, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and highly bioavailable protein. Another superfood!

With 38 grams of protein and 10 grams of net carbs, our steak and eggs is a filling, nutrient-rich breakfast option. The Steak and Eggs also serves as an awesome post-workout refuel.

Quinoa chorizo breakfast tacos

Our ‘no-rizo’ is a blend of quinoa, tomato paste and spices for a seriously delicious veggie-friendly take on traditional chorizo. Rolled up with eggs & cheese in our house-made paleo tortilla, this is a satisfying, portable option to suit your breakfast (or lunch & dinner winking face) needs. At Snap, we’re all about keeping vegetarian dishes real food focused, meaning we don’t cut corners with fake, soy-based meats or artificial anything.
With 19 grams of protein and 21 grams of healthy fat, the Quinoa Chorizo Breakfast Tacos are a powerhouse vegetarian dish that won’t disappoint.

Snap Salads!

You asked, and we answered! Our fresh salads are back, with greek, caesar and a new kid on the block – golden beet and goat cheese. While they’re delicious on their own, you can also add any of our proteins to make them more filling & nutritionally complete. Our salads are always fresh & our dressings are always made in-house. Most store-bought dressings are filled with pro-inflammatory vegetable oils and long ingredient lists, but ours only contain exactly what they would if you made them at home. Real food for the win!

Caesar – A lighter, healthier take on the Caesar you know, served with our Greek yogurt-based Caesar dressing.

Greek – The heart and soul of the heart healthy Mediterranean diet, we do our Greek Salad with all the classic flavors you expect.

Golden beet & goat cheese – The perfect option for a light, veggie-packed lunch or as an addition to your meal, with golden beets for fiber, potassium and folate.

We’re also offering plain mixed greens, perfect to mix-and-match with components or entrees to build your perfect meal. They’re simple greens with all the possibilities. Eat them on their own with some olive oil, top with one of our protein packs coming in June, or add the components of your choice to make a meal. A great option to add some beneficial nutrients like folate, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium, to your day. Vitamins A & K are fat soluble, so they’re best eaten alongside a bit of healthy fat (like avocado, olives, etc)!

Have you tried any of these items yet? If not, which are you most excited about?
